Franserudsskolan is located in the center of Bengtsfors and is one of the municipality's four primary schools. About 370 students attend the school, which offers services for grades F-6 + AGS grades 1-6 and after-school care.

At the school, nearly 70 dedicated teachers and staff work. We organize ourselves into work teams and combine teaching with both class teachers/mentors and subject teachers. In the lower grades, after-school staff contribute practical moments (PA) as part of the teaching.

We have a close collaboration between student health, school management, and shared resources, creating a safe and supportive environment. Additionally, we work with the one-to-one concept, where each student has access to digital tools that enhance learning.

💡 Your job is important

As a special educator/special teacher, you will be a key person in our student health team. Here we work both proactively and preventively, but also with concrete measures to support students and staff.

You will:

• Collaborate with school management, counselor, school nurse, and school psychologist to create the best possible conditions.
• Be guiding and consulting in the development of methods and practices – both at the group and individual level.
• Work with various tasks that match your experience and education.
• Work operationally with students and contribute to educational investigations, propose measures and adjustments, and follow up on action plans.
• Be a qualified conversation partner and advisor in educational matters – a team player who sees the strength in collaboration.
• Identify success factors and contribute to an accessible school for all students.

👩‍🏫 This is you

We are looking for someone who:

• Is an educated special educator/special teacher with experience from preschool to grade 6.
• Has broad knowledge of the special educational/teaching assignment and wants to drive development work together with school management and staff.
• Has good knowledge of educational aids – both physical and digital – and is solution-focused.
• Is responsible, cooperative, and sees the value in both supporting and challenging colleagues.
• Sees challenges as opportunities and understands the importance of building good relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues.
• Has excellent knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.

📌 Competence requirements

• Teacher education and further education in special education/special teaching.
• Experience from similar work.
